IN THE RECORDING STUDIO

CHRISTOPHER’S RECORDING STUDIO IS NESTLED AMONG 22 ACRES OF GARDENS NEAR THE COASTAL TOWN OF APOLLO BAY.

With views over the southern ocean and the Otway Ranges, it’s a secluded and very peaceful place that’s perfect for composing deeply relaxing music.

The studio gardens are home to all sorts of Australian wildlife. Here you’ll find koalas, echidnas, a variety of native birds, the occasional tiger snake and plenty of kangaroos. It’s a unique experience to see them hopping about silently while watching from behind thick soundproof windows!

Christopher Composing

“I’m very, very lucky to have a lot of freedom and time to devote to music composition and I do lead a relaxation-focused life. Hey, you’ve got to walk the talk if you want to be a really authentic composer of relaxation music. So I never create music in a hurry. I’m able to relax and focus on quality rather than quantity with the attitude that my work is a service to humanity, not just a way to make a buck.”

Christopher’s compositions usually rely on virtual instruments first and foremost, with live recordings and synthesized instruments added as needed. Here’s an overview of the equipment that Christopher uses to compose and produce his music.
