The Sanctuary Chime has a calm, friendly sound with a crisp, clear tone, excellent sustain, and a melody that is laid-back, familiar and welcoming. I designed this chime, not only to use within my own relaxing music recordings, but also for you, to help make your own home feel like a sanctuary – a place of peace that’s special to you.
Before the Sanctuary Chime came into existence, I spent many months recording all of the beautiful wind chimes made by Windsong Chimes. This allowed me to closely study the sound of various chimes while in a silent, acoustically balanced environment. I learned so much about how the sound changes with various chime lengths and diameters, and I developed some new techniques for recording wind chimes too.
This has been a very satisfying process that has resulted in a new wind chime that simply sounds beautiful. I’ll be using the Sanctuary Chime in many of my upcoming music productions.
